I keep thinking this building has a name, but even the army just calls it “the white building.”
Back when Deal Test Site was being used by AT&T for communication experiments, they built this house in 1921 to serve as a dorm and laboritory for the engineers.
Clearly, it’s not currently in use.

The right-hand picture was taken in 1928. Click here for the caption to that photo. There are more trees now, and those gates are gone (replaced by something uglier, I believe), but it’s still the same distance from the road.
