Southbound on Route 18.
Generally, if you want to get anywhere from here (“here” being the east side of Jersey…or at least Ocean Township), you’ve gotta take either Rte 18 or the Garden State Parkway first. The Jersey Turnpike is useful if you’re travelling up the west side of the state, though.
I’m just trying to use up my bare-tree photos ‘cos all the trees started budding while I was away. Damn!

Paul- The bare trees are NAKED! Do you like nekkidness?
m- The saturation kind of bugs me. I wish my camera didn’t wash out every color it captured, so I didn’t have to compensate and make it look fake.
RD- The Kinks are the guys who sang “Lola” (‘Lola, Lo-Lo-Lo-Lo-Lola’) “You Really Got Me” (‘Girl, you really got me now, you got me so I don’t know what I’m doin’), and “All Day and All of the Night” (‘Girl- I want- to be with you all of THE time’). “Drivin’” is one of their more obscure songs, I guess.
When the trees have leaves again, I will have backgrounds that don’t suck! Imagine that!

Jersey traffic is often edge-setting, but there’s hardly any in this picture.
I think Get Zapped likes the way the road flows, especially the ramp, and I do as well. You got a great vantage point.
