In July 2010, I was lucky enough to stumble upon a muralist putting the finishing touches on a new mural by the Asbury Park casino.
I think I have photos of the exact wall before it was painted, but I’ll need to find them and re-upload them; I had all my black-and-white photos stored on Zooomr, which permanently went kaput without giving any warning.

That was indeed a stroke of luck to catch the muralist in action!
Sorry about Zooomr. I feel at least partially responsible, as I mentioned it to you and recommended it.

Hah, no worries, I think most of us didn’t see this coming. Did you jump ship before it was too late?

Well, in a sense, I’d abandoned that ship long ago. Depending on the strength of the metaphor, you might say I never really boarded. I didn’t really use it for much other than as the host for a handful of blog images.
But, now that I think about it some more… I do wonder if I did have some irreplaceable pictures on there… the computer that was stolen (along with some memory cards in the same bag) was the one I was using during my Zooomr phase.
